What Will Be Covered
This practical 90-minute workshop explores how voice teachers can move beyond repetitive, piano-based warm-ups and create engaging vocal experiences that support healthy singing and develop confidence in beginner vocalists.
Topics include:
- Purposeful vocal warm-ups and lesson activities
- Movement, play, and imagination in vocal teaching
- Building confidence and engagement in lessons
- Age-appropriate breathing and vocal coordination activities
- Instructional language that inspires curiosity and student autonomy
Participants will experience demonstrations of warm-ups, games, movement activities, and vocal exercises that can be adapted for private lessons and small group classes.
