Nicky and Sarah are alumni of the BMI Advanced Musical Theatre Writers workshop in NYC. They teamed up when they discovered their shared passion for writing for young people. Together, along with book writer Steven Gallagher, they are the writers of the “tween” musical In BeTween (available for licensing). Nicky and Sarah are currently cooking up new tunes for The Tweens ‘N Teens Songbook Volume 2!
Sarah Ziegler is a musical theater writer, performer, and teacher. In addition to writing MT songs for adolescents, she runs a musical theatre camp for kids (“Curtains Uptown”) and a baby and toddler music class (“Musical Muffins”) with original songs streaming on all major platforms!
Nicky Phillips is an award winning composer who loves writing songs for tweens and teens. Besides being a musical theatre writer, you can also hear her songs on season 1 and 2 of the animated series Vida the Vet. When not writing, she teaches voice to students all around the world in her online vocal studio!
