Ok, I am a DIY kind of teacher and I usually prefer to print out stuff like this – but I LOVE these booklets. The stickers are a cool bonus. My students LOVE LOVE LOVE these colorful handouts and I like to use them when I am welcoming a new student into my studio. I have also used them in my kids singing class and they were a hit. I regularly use the Hot Chocolate song and the Sushi Song for older kids and the Kitty Unicorn for the younger kids. Please make more of these for older students.
My students LOVE the Sushi song! The tongue twister is a fun game to challenge themselves to sing it faster every week in our lessons! I love this song because it is reinforcing scales, 5ths, and octaves in a fun way! Also staccatos can be easily covered in these passages. I often refer in our lessons back to this warmup as we encounter all these things in other repertoire and they understand the concepts quickly! Thank you for a GREAT song!
