77 | Lyric Discovery (Freebie Friday Download)
Do your voice students TRULY understand the meaning and story behind their song? Unfortunately not as much as you would think. It is not just our young singers — even teens and adults struggle with reading comprehension skills. Lyrical prose is darn tricky! This episode is all about simple activities to help our singers with vocabulary, reading comprehension and expressive singing.
This ties in with our Freebie Friday Lyric Discovery download that helps students explore the words and meaning of their songs. This is a guided activity that encourages students to look closer and (hopefully) ask more questions about the songs they sing. (This is a GREAT activity for when students and/or teachers need to rest their voices too!)
