Finding Materials Just Got Easier
We’re so glad you’re here! We know how much thought goes into choosing the right materials for your students, and we are here for you. Teaching beginners is significant work; you’re laying the foundation for a lifetime of joyful music-making!

Trusted by teachers around the world, the FULL VOICE Workbook Series was thoughtfully researched and developed by Nikki Loney and Mim Adams, independent voice teachers who truly understand the needs of the lesson studio. In response to the shortfall in materials for their most popular demographic—children—the workbooks were born. The result is a flexible, engaging curriculum that empowers young singers to discover music through their own beautiful voices.

Workbook FAQs
How are the workbooks used in lessons?
Teachers often use them as warm-ups before repertoire or during “no-singing” lessons when students need vocal rest.
How much lesson time do they take?
Totally flexible. Many teachers use about 10 minutes in a 30-minute lesson, with more time in longer lessons if desired.
Do workbook lessons need to be completed all at once?
No. You can focus on one section or page at a time and revisit concepts over several weeks.
Are they meant to be homework?
No. The workbooks are designed to be completed during lessons with teacher guidance.
Can I still use my own warm-ups and technique?
Yes. The workbooks complement your go-to teaching tools.
Why solfège?
Solfège (Tonic Sol-Fa) is a proven method for building pitch accuracy, sight-singing skills, and strong musicianship. Using hand signs engages the body and reinforces learning. Our series uses Moveable Do.
What ages are they for?
Introductory Level: ages 6–8
Level One: ages 8+ (including teens and adults)
Levels Two & Three: experienced students of any age
Ages are guidelines only; placement is based on experience and readiness. More detailed age/experience recommendations are available here.
Do they include songs or practice tracks?
No—there is no repertoire or audio included. The workbooks complement all genres of repertoire.
Do students need their own copy?
Yes. Each student needs their own workbook for writing (and stickers!). Many teachers purchase books for their students and incorporate the cost in lesson fees, often keeping a reference copy for themselves.
Is there supplemental material?
Yes. Teachers often pair the workbooks with:
Free resources like:
Singing Spaceships Vocal Exploration, Solfège Flashcards, and Completion Certificates.
One-page activities from:
Vocal Warm-Ups and Technical Exercises for Kids! and Sight Singing Superhero
Songs from:
Songs and Studies for Kids! three-level songbook series
Do the songbooks match the workbooks?
Sort of. While separate, the Songs and Studies for Kids! levels are are intentionally aligned with the skills taught in the workbooks.
Can I pause during recital season?
Absolutely. The series is flexible and can be adapted to your studio calendar.
Are digital versions available?
The workbooks are designed as student workbooks; there are no digital versions available that allow students to write directly in the book. However, Kindle eBooks can be used for reference, or in online lessons for screen sharing alongside physical books.
Our signature workbook series is the foundation of our entire collection of educational resources. We are deeply grateful for the trust, support, and thoughtful feedback from teachers and students who use them.
At FULL VOICE Music, we remain committed to fostering a supportive community of voice teachers who want to create joyful, age-appropriate musical experiences for young singers.
